How to secure the camera using velcro

Question: How can I make sure my camera does not fall from my camera bag if I accidentally forget to close it?

Answer: That's a very important issue. As weird as it may sound, sometimes we just forget to close our bag when picking it up or even just moving it from one spot in the room to another. It happened to me once or twice, but after the first time I've learned the lesson and ever since I use a simple Velcro strap that secures my camera in place, making sure it will not fall out of my bag even if it's completely open, hanging on my back. The Velcro, as cheap as it can be is far more strong then the regular dividers Lowepro provided with my good old Computrekker AW. I love this bag and it's been serving me for years now with only one zipper failure (that was quickly repaired by them under warranty), but the thing is the those dividers are not wide/long enough to hold a heavy camera+lens in place like the longer strap does. Here's How it looks like in my bag. Note how thin the strap is, however it's been holding my camera for few years now.Velcro strap securing my camera
